About the concert
An evening of moving neoclassical symphonic music, performed by a live orchestra in the romantic glow of candlelight, during which the timeless words of great lovers are recited, giving voice to the most intimate emotions
On March 19, in the romantic glow of countless candles, a moving symphonic neoclassical performance will be presented, played live by an orchestra. Embark on a journey with our cultural time machine and witness the love letters of great figures revered in Germany and around the world come to life before your eyes—from Remarque and Dietrich to Rilke, Hesse, Robert and Clara Schumann, Goethe, Beethoven, Van Gogh, Monet, Chopin, and many more.
This is not just a concert—it is a testament to the fact that love is stronger than time.
Immerse yourself in an atmosphere of tenderness, inspiration, celebration of life, and eternal beauty—by the light of thousands of candles, where every note sounds like a declaration of love.
*While the language of music is universal, the words of the great lovers are brought to life in German and English to convey every emotional nuance.
About the Artists
On stage: Conductor and composer Liliia Chernyshova with the REASONANCE Orchestra (Germany).
The Resonance Orchestra brings together professional musicians who bring Liliia’s neoclassical compositions to life. With its specialization in chamber orchestra arrangements, the ensemble creates the atmospheric space that Liliia’s music requires: orchestral accompaniment that never feels overbearing, but instead leaves room for the central piano melodies and the emotional narrative. The orchestra masterfully navigates between gentle crescendos and introspective moments—striking precisely that balance of melancholy and longing that critics describe as a “haunting crescendo of wonder.”
Liliia is an internationally recognized theater and film composer, a winner of prestigious competitions (Berlin Shorts Film Festival, International Film Music Competition), and a member of the German Composers’ Association. Her music has captivated critics and audiences around the world and has been streamed over 100,000 times on international platforms.

Kulturhaus Peter Edel
A historic cultural site with a vibrant present
With over 130 years of history, the Peter Edel Cultural Center in Berlin-Weißensee is one of the city’s most historic venues. Since its founding in 1890, it has evolved from a social gathering place into a major hub for culture and artistic exchange.
It became particularly well-known as the cultural heart of East Berlin, hosting numerous concerts, theater performances, and dance events. To this day, the building combines historic architecture with modern event technology.
The spacious hall, with its excellent acoustics and the close proximity between the stage and the audience, creates a special, intimate atmosphere—ideal for concerts and cultural events.
Thanks to its central location and excellent transportation links, the Kulturhaus is a popular gathering place for culture enthusiasts from all over Berlin.
A place where tradition and the present come together.
